Denver Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Continuing Sisterhood

We invite you to explore how, through the Denver Alumnae Association, you can again experience the sisterhood of Alpha Delta Pi as you continue your journey through life. In addition to supporting Alpha Delta Pi, the Association offer various sisterhood events throughout the year including: ski trips, wine tasting, happy hours, mom’s club, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, and much more!

ABOUT DENVER AREA ALUMNAE ASSOCIATION

We are the proud recipient of the Diamond Four Point award presented at the 2017 Grand Convention.

The Denver City Club began meeting in 1920. The Denver City Club is first mentioned in the Adelphean in 1923. Their first quarterly letter to the Adelphean was in June 1926. In this letter it was stated that the group had been meeting for four years. The Denver Area Alumnae Association was officially chartered in Spring 1937. According to changes made in the Alpha Delta Pi Constitution by the 1936 Convention delegates, all former city clubs were chartered as alumnae associations in Spring 1937.

Today, our association has members from many different universities, professions and walks of life.

We have an active social and philanthropic calendar including providing dinner for the Ronald McDonald House several times each year. Also on the annual calendar are some of our favorite events such as Wine Tasting, Ronald McDonald House fundraisers, Afternoon Tea and our Founders’ Day Celebration.

PHILANTHROPY

Adopted in 1979, The Ronald McDonald House Charities is the official philanthropy of Alpha Delta Pi

The Colorado Associations all support and raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, cook dinners for the families and support the houses.

Denver

The downtown Denver house was constructed in 2001 to replace their first home of 21 years. Contained within the 35,000 square foot home are: 31 bedrooms with private baths, and includes 2 kitchens, a laundry, 5 TV lounges, dens, and indoor/outdoor play areas. There is currently a capital campaign underway for a planned 29,000-square-foot expansion which will add 44 guest rooms, more than doubling their capacity. It will also include many of the elements that make a house a home: laundry facilities, libraries, common areas and a kitchen.

Aurora

The newest house opened in March 2008 in Aurora at Fitzsimons Medical Campus. The  76,000 square foot facility houses up to 45 families a night. It sports 3 large kitchens, laundry facilities, TV lounges, play areas indoors and out, computer rooms and a patio.

Sisterhood lasts a lifetime - we hope you will join us at an event soon and keep Alpha Delta Pi alive in your life and your heart.

We schedule social events each month plus quarterly events benefiting the Ronald McDonald Houses in Denver. If you have any event suggestions or would like to host an event, please let us know! - the more we can do together, the stronger we can be.
